Our life really just made up with lots of choices we make. What you eat, what you drink, what you do for work, where you buy grocery and so much more!
Sometimes we are so afraid of saying No, or have FOMO always want to say Yes to everything. But can we really say Yes to everything?
“Life is a matter of choices, and every choice you make makes you." - John C. Maxwell
If I say Yes to an happy hour, that means I'm saying No to a yoga class. If I say Yes to new clothes, that means I'm saying No to savings. If I say Yes to working on weekend, that means I'm saying No to family time and house keeping tasks. If I say Yes to working long hours during the week, that means I'm saying no quality sleep, or workout time in the evening, or time to read a book. If I say Yes to watch TV and turn my brain off for hours, that means I'm saying no to reading a book and learning something new. If I say Yes to fast food, that means I'm saying No to healthy or home cooked meal.
The list goes on and on. This is a good reminder for me to do a quick check every time I'm making a decision. What am I saying No to? And am I making choices according to my core values?
